O-48 Output Card (prototype photo)

	48 outputs, each providing 150 milliamp current sinking (open drain) power. Connect to external voltages up to 24 volts or power directly from the card, up to 16 volts.
	A wide variety of output functions, including support for all types of model railroad signals, crossing flashers, turnout motors and solenoids, and throttles.
	A variety of easy-to-use, plug-in options allow conversion of output points to high-side drivers (for common cathode signals), high-powered bridge (bi-directional) drivers, relay outputs, and throttle drivers.  Up to 6 output plug-ins can be used on one O-48 card.
	All outputs equipped with plug-in molex connectors for ease of maintenance. Cards can be easily plugged and unplugged for easy swappability.
	Optional plug-in screw terminals convert outputs to screw-down connections. Allow the plug-in capability of molex connectors with the ease of installation of screw terminals.
	On-card jumpers and switches select interface baud rate (19,200 or 38,400), and card address (255 choices).
	All output drivers are implemented with Integrated Circuits in sockets for easy replacement in case of accidental damage.
	Power can be connected 3 ways – screw terminals, molex connector, or power jack.
	NOTES - All functions are identical on the IO-48 and O-48 with one exception: When using the IO-48 "blink" function, each point can have its own blink rate specified. On the O-48, there is one "master" blink rate which is used for all blinking outputs on the card. All other O-48 output functions are completely independent across all 48 output points.
